Description
A complex approach to the study of polycrystalline structures of biological objects based on a combination of laser polarimetry and laser-induced autofluorescence was considered. A model of the formation of polarization-inhomogeneous autofluorescence images of histological sections of biological tissues and polycrystalline films of biological fluids of human organs of different morphological structure and physiological state was proposed. The results of studies of the statistical, correlation and fractal structure of polarization-inhomogeneous autofluorescence and Muller-matrix images in various spectral ranges were presented. Diagnostic criteria for changes in the optical anisotropy of biological layers associated with various types of pathology were determined. For students, post-graduate students, tutors and researchers working in the field of biomedical optics and diagnostics, biology, medicine.
