Journal of Design History: Issue 3 Vol 10

Now in its tenth year, "Journal of Design History" plays a part in developing and defining a new discipline. It publishes research on all aspects of the social, cultural, technical and economic significance of design, and provides an international forum for dialogue and debate. Volume 10, Issue 3 contains the following articles: H. Alpay Er on the developmental pattern of industrial design in the Third World; Charlotte Benton on the context for Daniel Libeskind's extension to the Victoria and Albert Museum; Anna Calvera on the influence of William Morris and the Arts and Crafts Movement in Catalonia; Jim Lesko on industrial design at the Carnegie Institute of Technology 1934-67; and Sarah Richards on the Meissen Porcelain Manufactory and the Dresden Academy 1764-1831.
