Description
The Module 3 Games and Mats Pack contains boards, cards and equipment for 14 sets of games. These will provide consolidation of mathematical ideas in an enjoyable way and can also be used to encourage cooperative working and to develop powers of reasoning by thinking about strategies. Also contained in the pack are six double-sided encapsulated A3 sheets. The teacher's handbook which is contained in the pack gives rules for the games, outlines the mathematical skills addressed by each, provides numerous ideas for using the mats, and includes photocopy masters for developing the activities.
