Essays on Contract

This collection of essays, by one of the leading contract theorists of the common law world, concern the theory and foundations of contractual liability. Published over the last twenty years, the essays have previously only been available from diverse sources, many of which are not easily accessible. Professor Atiyah has revised, and in some cases rewritten, all the essays for this volume, and has also taken the opportunity to reply to criticisms previously made of his work.
