Description
"A fast-paced fantasy adventure with a strong, relatable protagonist. Highly recommended - loved it!" - The Wishing Shelf
A hidden world. A forbidden power. A truth that changes everything.
Seventeen-year-old Ariessy has spent her life in the shadows-one of many powerful sorceresses created by the Norse gods, hidden from humanity and monitored by the Vald, an elite force of wolf-shifters sworn to protect Earth from supernatural threats.
But when she's accused of using outlawed magic to save her dying father, the wolves uncover a far more dangerous truth: the real threat isn't the crime she didn't commit-it's the secrets buried deep in her bloodline... and a hidden vulnerability that could destroy her.
With her grandmother missing and dark forces rising, Ariessy refuses to be bound by laws-or by the failing heart that threatens to silence her power. And with Hale by her side-torn between duty and something deeper-she must embrace the magic within... or risk losing everything.
In a world where love, loyalty, and power can be deadly, the truth might be her only weapon.

Reviews / Votes
"I do enjoy a good fantasy adventure. I like them fast-paced with plenty of twists and packed full of compelling characters. And I'm happy to report, Ariessy of Midgard ticks every box. This is a thrilling story, and I'd recommend it to readers who enjoy skillfully plotted fantasy novels populated with fully formed characters - and plenty of problems for the protagonist to solve! A fast-paced, fantasy adventure with a strong and relatable protagonist. Highly recommended!" - Wishing Shelf."At the start of the book, it seems like the story might be a little similar to Harry Potter, albeit from a student teacher's point of view, but it quickly turns into a fantastic combination of magic and mythology. The beauty of the Welsh countryside provides a captivating setting for the intrigue of Norse legends as Essy's preconceptions are challenged and changed with an alarming quickness. Ariessy's is an emotive and engaging character who is headstrong and intelligent. I thoroughly enjoyed every bit of the story and had a hard time putting it down. The blend of existing mythology and the magic system created by Arthur make for a riveting story. 'Ariessy of Midgard' is an emotional fantasy adventure story that expertly hits all the right notes for young adult fantasy fans looking for an easy story with a unique blend of Norse mythology to get lost in." - Literary Titan.
