Description
We first meet Jason as a 30-something adult who's on mandatory leave from the US NSA for some dark reason. He's aggressive, hardened, terribly vitriolic, and overconfident.
Back when he was just 14 years old, Jason believed that his technology could solve any crime or cyber situation. His skill and focus on complex issues by examining them from different perspectives always works. He's invincible, finding even the most minute detail to trace and track bad actors. But when challenged by a sly and vicious person, he discovers his real need for Reba and her physical skills.
We pick up Jason still on suspension from the NSA and on the beach in the Cayman Islands. After finding suspicious footprints in the sand leading toward his house from the water, he's scared that he's being observed. After setting a few careful traps, he settles into review his second journal that he titled "Dark Web".
Our story opens as Jason (14) and Reba (14) are admitted to a private academy in Woodside, California. This boarding school is something totally different. Their admission was engineered by the FBI to keep the kids safe after their last adventure and to keep an eye on them as they progress. Little did they know this was a prelude to them taking on two major crimes, sextortion and human trafficking.
