'This book is a shining example of compelling, communicative writing. It is well exemplified from a wide range of perspectives, each analysed and used as part of a story. The authors are careful not to prescribe one approach, validating a whole range and showing how each can be used effectively in particular contexts. Though the authors are all located in Education, they successfully use examples from across the social sciences to make their text accessible to a wider audience. Additionally, they make a point of explaining and discussing taken-for-granted terms and concepts ... making the book really accessible to beginners who will be able to use it to develop their own skills ...
