`The first two parts are excellent. Part 1 sets the scene well, looking at policy-making and implementation structures. Part 2 contains seven sectoral studies... as examples of policies that are neither exclusively national or European, but exhibit a mix of national and European aspects. These two section beautifully illustrate the complexity of European policy-process, and the interactions between the national and supranational levels.
