She is presently retired from the faculty of Norwich Free Academy where she was Chairman of the Social Studies Department. Miss Andersen has been a John Hay Fellow and has authored Guide to World's History and co-authored American Democracy at Work and Perspectives in United States History. She resides in Waterford, Connecticut.
