Description
This is the last of three volumes that are directed at the neurological problems associated with systemic illness, and complementing volumes 38 and 39 of the first series. The book provides comprehensive updates of the accumulated literature, taking into account the many exciting developments that have occurred in clinical medicine over the last 25 years. In particular the advent of new imaging techniques and therapeutic approaches have added another dimension, providing new solutions for old problems and creating new complications and dilemmas that are discussed in this volume. This book will be of help to readers by providing practical guidance, a review of the pertinent literature, and a summary of the various problems for which consultation may be requested.
