Description
In a near-future where you can hire someone to wear your body and perform tasks for you, eighteen-year-old Tamsin scratches out a living as one such "body valet." A thief and con artist, she seeks ways to profit off her time in her clients' bodies.
When global pop icon Lux Aeterna hires her, Tamsin thinks she's struck gold. But then a kidnapping goes wrong, and Tamsin finds herself trapped in Lux's body, held for ransom in the middle of the desert. And the voice in her head? That's Lux herself, wearing Tamsin's stolen skin.
What begins as a botched crime spirals into a conspiracy of kidnappers, corporate vultures, and a pop star willing to risk everything to help her fans...even if it means sacrificing herself. Together, Tamsin and Lux discover that saving each other might be the only way to save themselves.
