Diagnostic Atlas of the Heart

This clinically oriented volume derives from "Atlas of the Heart" and includes coverage of hypertension, hypercholesterolaemia, obesity, the athlete, CHF and other topics. There is less emphasis on congenital conditioning and pathology than in the "Atlas" and this volume contains no treatment. Intended for use by cardiologists and written on a level accessible to the undergraduate medical student, the book contains chapters on ageing and the heart, alcohol and the heart, pregnancy and the heart, cerebrovascular diseases and myocardial disease.
