Description
'I couldn't put it down'- T.J Emerson, bestselling author of The Last Mrs Sinclair
'A great summer pick' - Amanda Reynolds, bestselling author of Close To Me
All aboard for one killer voyage.
On a sun-soaked voyage around enchanting French Polynesia, three rising stars, their CEO and their partners are living the dream: cocktails, coral reefs, and the promise of reward after a year of hard work.
But as the tight quarters of their luxury superyacht close in, tensions emerge - not just between the guests, but the jaded crew serving them. Soon, secrets surface, marriages crack, and danger stalks guests below the deck. And when a passenger is found dead, it's clear the glossy facade has shattered forever.
Because here on the high seas, everyone's hiding something - and no one can escape what they've done . . .
Below Deck is the pulse-pounding destination thriller from Nikki Allen, perfect for fans of Ruth Ware and Lucy Clarke.

Reviews / Votes
A real slice of escapist reading. I really enjoyed the vicarious sail (I will NEVER go on a cruise in case of bad weather!) and all the subtle clues about who is after who. Nikki is so good at making every tiny detail authentic, so you can vividly imagine the setting and the cast of characters. It's an effortless read in the best possible way, and a great summer pick -- Amanda Reynolds, bestselling author of Close To Me A voyage into paradise with a stormy and violent conclusion. A tense, atmospheric thriller packed with dark secrets, simmering desires and bitter grudges. Allen effortlessly blends her exotic setting and twisty storytelling with complex characterisation and pressing social issues. I couldn't put it down! -- T.J. Emerson, bestselling author of The Last Mrs Sinclair This twisty thriller is a cleverly written journey into the dark reaches of deception and misogyny. It's a trip that you won't forget -- Chris Bridges, McDermid Debut Award shortlisted author of Sick to Death Gripping. I couldn't wait to keep reading this. The combination of secrets, tension and a little bit of spice makes Below the Deck perfect for fans of Lucy Foley. A destination thriller with something to say -- Kingsley Pearson, prize-winning author of Flat 401 The summer is coming and this is the perfect read for poolside cocktails. Loved it! -- Rachel Wolf, author of Five Nights With drama, lies, and murder aboard a luxury yacht, Below The Deck is part reality show, part thriller, and 100% entertaining. With a cast of suspicious characters, a to-die-for setting, and twists I never expected, I couldn't put this book down. It is truly everything I want in a destination thriller! -- Sara Ochs, author of The Resort Twisty, tropical and utterly gripping - Below the Deck had me reading late into the night. Allen has a talent for creating completely human characters, and then ratcheting up the tension to fever pitch. First class -- Hannah Brennan, author of No Safe Place Who can you trust? With sun, sea, sex, scandal and lies, Nikki Allen's brilliant new psychological thriller Below the Deck is the perfect summer read. I couldn't put it down! -- Natasha Boydell, bestselling author of The Fortune Teller A brilliant, twisty thriller that makes you want to shout warnings out aloud to the characters! I was gripped -- Peter James, author of the bestselling Roy Grace series on The Hideaway Absolutely flawless . . . the prose is taut without being plain and wonderfully descriptive without becoming purple. Paced flawlessly from start to the barn burner of a finale, I gobbled this up in two days -- Sarah Goodwin, bestselling author of The Yacht on The Hideaway An accomplished white-knuckle ride from start to finish -- Kate Riordan, author of Richard and Judy bookclub pick The Heatwave on The Hideaway Exhilarating -- Prima Magazine on The HideawayMore details
