The Angel

My name is Tani, and I've been living on the planet Eroea for some time now. I was sent here to help the people of this world by carrying out any Divine missions given to me along the way. Everything was rather routine, until one fateful mission brought me to cross paths with a mysterious exile called Rhyn. After meeting him, my once peaceful life is turned upside down, as both Angels and Demons attempt to interfere more than they ever had before. I know that my time visiting here is limited, and one day I'll be called back home, but until that happens I'm determined to experience the beautiful things of this plane, and find in it a greater sense of purpose. Set in a world of fantastic creatures and uniquely gifted people, this is the first book in a planned series for the Tales of Eroea. It mainly follows in the perspective of the Angel named Tani as she searches for renewed purpose, while attempting to fulfill her duties to the Divine. She may think that her life is a result of her own decisions, but she can sense the manipulation of fate being carried out by those above her. (Approx. 119,000 words.)
