While there he morphs into an adult and finds himself viewing a strange scene on earth. Though curiosity and creativity are rampant throughout, the integrity of the scripture is maintained. COMPELLING ! The fiction portion of The Year of the Rapture reveals a town full of young adults, (headies) seeking a secular experience to satisfy their search for reality. Their reverie is hijacked by a few Christians whose reality wins! The story builds and explodes with three shocking events that lead to a dynamic conclusion, leaving the reader astonished and incredulous. INSIGHTFUL ! Fact, "The future is now," is a popular twenty first century phrase and could be a Biblical reality anytime. "Perhaps today," is another statement regarding the imminent return of the Lord Jesus. Being ready for that occasion is urged by God in scripture. Therefore, regarding the Rapture, a constant NOW is presented in the Bible and by the author. Dave Allan has had an inveterate career of ministry experience. His credentials as a director includes three organizations, seven youth enterprises, multiple church ministries, numerous missionary junkets abroad and two Christian college positions.
