Description
A predictive governor technique has been discussed in the paper to supervise Alternating Current based Microgrids built on the non-conventional energy source in the absence of conventional regulation. The governor technique embodies a power predictive control model (MPPC) and a voltage control prediction model (MPVC).By using the power control predictive algorithm, the two-way step-down - step-up converters of the energy storage device are regulated such that the unstable yield through the sustainable power sources is flattened and the inputs to the inverter are provided by the stable voltages of the DC bus.
