Alfonso: Be Wary of Memory

The spectacular images by Alfonso chosen for this monograph are part of the Spanish collective graphic memory. Their photographs have helped us reconstruct the history of a tumultuous century marked by the war in Morocco, the fall of the monarchy in Spain, the development of the workers' movement and the disasters of the Spanish Civil War.
