Reviews / Votes
It's a thrilling, action-packed, information-filled, double-triple-crossing, rip-roaring adventure! * Dan Smith, author of My Brother's Secret and Nisha's War * It's an exotic adventure! With diverse representation, Sufiya's books are SO important as they put a spotlight on the contribution that other communities made to the war effort. Another must for all school libraries! You'll love Rosie! * A.M. Dassu, author of Boy, Everywhere * Children in Key Stage 2 will be captivated by this WWII story because it gives a perspective from a different part of the Empire and also highlights how war can divide opinions. This book would be a fantastic aid for history topics linked to WWII or even PSHE and RE. * ReadingZone * Excitement, mystery and adventure in WW2 Cairo written by the brilliant Sufiya Ahmed and beautifully illustrated by Hazem Asif. * Sophie Kirtley, author of The Wild Way Home and The Impossible Island * What a triumph! The "whodunnit" kept me guessing throughout. Love the mix of cultures amidst WWII. Important points raised about artefacts and British appropriation but in child-friendly way. * Vicky Fenton, Headteacher * PRAISE FOR ROSIE RAJA: CHURCHILL'S SPYGripping, such a brilliant, fresh addition to the shelf. * Emma Carroll, author of Letters from the Lighthouse * PRAISE FOR ROSIE RAJA: CHURCHIILL'S SPY
Perfect for fans of war-time historical fiction. I loved Rosie's story. * Jasbinder Bilan, author of Asha and the Spirit Bird * PRAISE FOR ROSIE RAJA: CHURCHILL'S SPY
