Description
To have a faith that thrives in the 21st century, young people need to have a vibrant spirituality. This collection of ten sessions covers a wide range of topics about living the Christian life, including debt, porn, relationships, and violence. The book contains 10 ready-to-use meeting outlines, covering key issues in these areas. It helps busy youth leaders cover issues that matter in an engaging way for young people, not lecturing at them. Young people will have the opportunity to discuss their opinions, analyse their beliefs, find out what the bible says and decide how they want to live. The material will be suitable for use with 11- to 16-year-olds. In addition to the meeting outline, there will be three extra sections on each meeting: a section for the youth leader to help them think through their perspective, a list of all the preparation required for each meeting, a discussion starter on the issue based on a film clip, a news story or a contemporary song. There is a CD-ROM with the book, that contains sheets to support the ready-to-use outlines, enabling busy youth leaders to print off the materials they need (adjusting them if needed).
