She undertook her clinical studies in London, Oxford and Cambridge, before undertaking a PhD in cellular biology and diploma in drug development and experimental therapeutics. Her philosophy is to teach and learn through observation, experience and the sharing of knowledge. She feels that exams whilst classically summative should also be formative, hence her passion for writing this book which whilst relevant to support in exam preparation aims to enhance the readers knowledge of rheumatology. Her aspiration is to nurture excellent rheumatology practitioners and researchers of the future.
