Dr Yousef Methkal Abd Algani is a lecturer in the Mathematics Department at the Arab Academic College for Education, Israel. In September 2019, he was appointed as the Head of Didactic Instruction in the Mathematics Department at the same college. His research interests encompass topology and algorithms in mathematics, and he also has a keen interest in mathematics education, particularly in teacher training programs and teaching and learning mathematics. He is currently a post-doctoral researcher at Bar-Ilan University, Israel.Zehavit Gross is Full Professor and Dean of the Faculty of Education at Bar-Ilan University, Israel. She holds the UNESCO Chair in Education for Human Values, Tolerance, Democracy, and Peace and was the president of the Israel Comparative Education Society (ICES). Her research expertise lies in interfaith multicultural education, peace education, and Holocaust education. Professor Gross has received numerous national and international awards, including the 2017 Distinguished Scholar Award from the Association of Moral Education (AME) and the 2023 Jerusalem Prize for outstanding contributions to Holocaust education in research and practice.
