Collins Cobuild English Course First Lessons: Cassettes

An English course for real beginners which provides early language exposure and practice and is the ideal lead-in to a full language learning programme, such as Collins COBUILD English Course. Based on research findings of the COBUILD project at Birmingham University, it comprises a teacher's edition, student's edition and two cassettes. Both editions contain wordlists and full tapescripts, and the teacher's edition also includes a useful games appendix. "First Lessons" provides up to 30 hours of language practice and exposure and can be used either as a complete course in its own right for a beginner's class, or to supplement an existing course by providing additional support for real beginners in a class of mixed ability.
