Jenny Pitman, well known as the first woman of racing, has achieved success in the world's toughest races. In 1998 she was awarded the OBE for her services to horseracing. Since retiring from training in 1999, Jenny has written five novels featuring trainer Jan Hardy. Frances Barber has a wide range of compelling stage, television and film roles to her credit, including playing Marilyn Monroe in Insignificance, Eliza Doolittle in Pygmalion and Nurse Ratched in One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest.
