Description
The study of human origins can never stand still, as new fossils are constantly being discovered and theories of the ancestral tree have to be rejigged to accommodate the newcomers. In The Origin of Humankind, Richard Leakey relates the complex but engrossing story of how the course of human evolution has been unravelled, and touches on all the aspects of what it is to be 'human'.
