French Periodicals Database (PC): WITH Network Licence

This database contains over 10,000 references to the titles and sources of articles in the French weekly press going back to 1984. It aims to facilitate the use of authentic materials in the study of contemporary French society, and to improve students' ability to use the press as a resource. The floppy disk requires an IBM PC, or compatible, with Windows. This French resource has been produced in association with the Technology Enhanced Language Learning (TELL) Consortium, and is designed to meet the needs of langauge teachers and learners. Together, the TELL range aims to cover all aspects of conversation, grammar, phonetics, interpretation and translation.
