It presents 21 meditations which together form the entire Buddhist path to enlightenment. The first part of the cassette gives the essential background to meditation - why we need to meditate, how to prepare for meditation and how to conduct a meditation session. The second part presents the 21 meditations of the stages of the path to enlightenment and includes advice on how to maintain the experience of meditation throughout the day, how to combine these meditations into a cycle for daily meditation and how to do a simple meditation retreat. Geshe Kelsang Gyatso was born in Tibet and is a fully accomplished meditation Master and Teacher of Buddhism.
