Description
A special solo adventure for Sylvester McCoy as the Seventh Doctor, in the last of three stories with a recurring villain. The future is dying. All over the universe, gaps are beginning to appear. From the space lanes terrorised by the rag-tag remnants of the once-mighty Rocket Men, to the empire of the Gorlans, stricken by a terrible civil war. Gaps in space/time, portents of the end of everything. Only three beings might prevent it. The Doctor, a renegade Time Lord from Gallifrey. The Master, another renegade Time Lord from Gallifrey. And another Master, yet another renegade Time Lord from Gallifrey. One Doctor. Two Masters. What could possibly go wrong? Big Finish's main range of Doctor Who stories began in 1999, and has featured television Doctors Peter Davison, Colin Baker, Sylvester McCoy and Paul McGann across its 213 tales. Director Jamie Anderson is the son of Thunderbirds creator and TV legend Gerry Anderson - he works on Doctor Who here, having brought his father's Terrahawks series to audio life for Big Finish.
Sylvester McCoy originally played the Doctor in 1987 - 1989, (then again in 1996) while his other work includes Radagast the Brown in Peter Jackson's epic The Hobbit films. CAST: Sylvester McCoy (The Doctor), Geoffrey Beevers (The Old Master), Alex Macqueen (The New Master), Lauren Crace (Jemima), Russ Bain (Blore), Esther Hall (Tazmeena), James Garnon (Sebastian), Neil Edmond (Sarlon).
