bekannten Soundtracks, darunter The Fly (Die Fliege), Naked Lunch, Ed Wood, Crash, Eastern Promises
(Tödliche Versprechen) und natürlich The Lord of the Rings (Der Herr der Ringe) oder The Hobbit (Der
Hobbit), aber auch das zart verspielte Catania für Klavier solo. Das Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio
France unter Leitung von Ludwig Wicki und Bastien Stil spielt die Orchesterwerke, Le Balcon unter Mike
Schäperclaus die Kammermusik. Die Deluxe-Vinyl-Edition bietet zusätzlich das ganze Repertoire des Albums auf drei Picture Discs mit Bildern zu den Filmen. Die Texte des aufwendig gestalteten LP-Gatefolds
sind in Englisch und Tolkiens Sindarin verfasst.
