Lent is a season of spiritual preparation for Easter. Many choose to simplify their lives between Ash Wednesday and Easter in order to go deeper in faith. This may be a time of fasting and repentance in order to be ready to embrace the joy and celebration of Easter. What will you need to do throughout the season of preparation in order to be fully ready to enter into the power of the resurrection at Easter?

Launch is about finding ways to make the season of Lent into a starting point for a deeper and richer life. The spiritual practices, weekly readings, and questions for reflection are designed to propel you toward growth in peacefulness and effectiveness in truly loving the people around you. This book is a tool to guide you through this season of preparation. It will challenge you to intentionally enter into a concentrated season of growth. The intitial chapters will guide you as you choose one area of your life to be transformed by a daily spiritual practice. Then weekly readings throughout the season of Lent will support your growth as you reflect on your relationship with God in light of your spiritual practice.

This book may be used for individual prayer and study, or as material for weekly discussions for small groups. Along the way the readings and Bible study discussions support progress toward the great affirmations of Easter.
