Dr. Wasana Wongsurawat is assistant professor in the Department of History, Faculty of Arts, Chulalongkorn University in Bangkok, Thailand. Her area of expertise is the history of modern China, the Chinese Diaspora, transnational and global history. She was the co-editor of Dynamics of the Cold War in Asia: Ideology, Identity and Culture (Palgrave Macmillan 2010).
