Redirection of the focus of epilepsy treatment from preventing the development of epilepsy to preventing epileptic seizures by the International League Against Epilepsy (ILAE) in 2021 results in major changes in the theory, basic principles and expected purposes of pharmacological therapy of epilepsy. Daher ist eine PDF auch für ein komplexes Layout geeignet, wie es bei Lehr- und Fachbüchern verwendet wird (Bilder, Tabellen, Spalten, Fußnoten).
