Wally, Where'd You Get Those Glasses? is a memoir by Wallace Safford that focuses on his longstanding work in security for iconic singers and music groups, including the Commodores, Parliament Funkadelic, Earth, Wind & Fire and Teddy Pendergrass. Safford subsequently transitioned from handling security with Prince at the height of his career to performing on stage as a background dancer and singer for the Academy Award-winning musician, who even recorded a song named in his honor, "Wally." He lives in Detroit.
