Combining the skills of a leading biblical scholar with the wisdom derived from years of pastoral experience in guiding vocation and ordination training, Richard Burridge invites you to explore four key facets of Christian ministry, viewed in the brilliant light of the four gospels' portraits of Jesus' life and work:
Richard A. Burridge is Dean of King's College, London, where he is also Professor of Biblical Interpretation. His book What Are the Gospels? (Cambridge University Press, 1992, 2004) is widely regarded as a breakthrough in gospel criticism, resulting in his being awarded the Ratzinger Prize by Pope Francis. His other books include the critically acclaimed Imitating Jesus: An inclusive approach to New Testament ethics (Eerdmans, 2007) and Four Gospels, One Jesus? A symbolic reading (SPCK 1994, 2013).
