The goal of this book was to connect the complex field of sponsorship to the small sub-branch of board sport events in the European field. To satisfy the goal of the study the attention was divided among the 3 most widespread board sports: surfing, snowboarding and skateboarding and events connected to these sports. The relevance of the study was justified as these 3 lifestyle sports are transforming into globally acknowledged high-performance sports which is also clearly shown in their incorporation in the agenda of the Olympics Games. The research sought the answer to the following question 'To whom could the corporate sponsorship of board sport related events be a successful tool to reach out to the targeted costumers in the European market?
