Tan Winie is Senior Lecturer in the School of Physics and Material Science at Universiti Teknologi MARA, Malaysia. She is an Associate Fellow of the Malaysian Scientific Association, Council Member of Institute of Materials, Malaysia, and member of Malaysian Solid State Science and Technology Society. She has received several medals and awards in international and national events. Her research interests are Solid State Ionics and she has contributed to a number of international journals as well as several book chapters.
Abdul Kariem Arof is Professor in the Department of Physics at University of Malaya, Malaysia. He is the founder and Head of the Center for Ionics University of Malaya where he laid the foundation for a center of research excellence in the field of solid state ionics. He has published over 200 scientific publications. He is an editorial board member of several international and national journals, an article reviewer for many scientific journals and an examiner for international and national PhD theses.
Sabu Thomas is Professor and Director at Centre for Nanosciences and Nanotechnology, Mahatma Gandhi University, India. He has published over 400 scientific publications and several books. He has received many awards, including 5th place in the list of the Most Productive Researchers in India in 2008. He was appointed as Visiting Professor at universities in Belgium, France, China, Germany and Slovenia.
