A Colour Atlas of Minor Surgery

This colour atlas includes the excision of various skin lesions, temporal artery biopsy, excision of a thyroglossal cyst, tracheostomy, circumcision, closure of a colostomy, vasectomy, inguinal hernia repair under local anaesthesia, haemorrhoidectomy, micrdodechectomy, removal of corneal foreign bodies, drainage of Bartholin's abscess, laparoscopy and various skin grafting techniques. The text is limited to two or three lines per picture giving essential guidelines and safety precautions, but there are also some useful paragraphs on the principles of plastic surgery.
