Al Capone became infamous during the Prohibition years in the roaring twenties, for controlling the flow of alcohol into the U.S.A. and for the crime wave which followed. Much of that alcohol was smuggled into the U.S.A. from Canada where the manufacturing of alcohol was legal.
The Reagan family had a band, which was hired to play every Saturday night in Windsor for those Americans who came across the border from neighbouring Michigan to dance and drink the night away. Soon, two of the Reagans, Bobby and Doug grew tired of playing for change while the big money was in running booze across the border.
