This series explores controversial topics in science and technology by featuring informative essays, both pro and con, on the major theories, ethical questions and commercial applications of science from all disciplines. Comprised of signed articles written exclusively for the series, each < I>Science in Dispute< /I> volume covers approximately 30 issues organized in seven general categories: medicine, life science, physical science, astronomy and space exploration, Earth science, mathematics and computer science, and engineering.
