Phawnda Moore has been active in the worldwide calligraphy community for over forty years.

She has written, edited, and designed more than a hundred published articles, reports, and books, and taught calligraphy and design classes in California for nearly twenty years. She is also a member of the private, online calligraphy group "Scribbled Lives" and four guilds.

Phawnda has received national awards for her work in county and state offices of education, including a Clarion Award from The Association for Women in Communications and two from the National School Public Relations Association. Her original alphabet, "Letters by Phawnda," was licensed by Chameleon Art Products in the U.K.

A Sacramento native, she currently lives in Rocklin, CA with her husband.
