This book is intended as a companion volume to "Surgery of the Stomach, Duodenum and Small Intestine", edited by Professors Scott and Sawyers. In "Surgery of the Liver", the authors aim to take a comprehensive and current look at liver function, including anatomy, physiology and pathology. All investigative techniques available to the modern surgeon are described and all surgical disease, including liver transplantation, included.
