Wolfgang Hoffmann-Riem is Senator of Justice of the State of Hamburg in Germany. He has served as Director of the Hans-Bredow-Institute for Radio and Television in Hamburg; Professor of Constitutional and Administrative Law at the University of Hamburg; and Chairman of the German Association for Journalism and Communication. He has published widely in media law, economic regulation, constitutional law, and law and society.
