Global Energy Justice

This text provides an eloquent overview of the factual, moral, and legal dimensions of global energy justice. The first segment, which examines the jurisprudential lineages of justice and law within Western, Islamic, Buddhist and Confucian traditions, maintains that law can and should offer answers to global problems of energy and poverty. The second segment explores energy poverty among the "other third" of the world, consisting of 1.3 to 2.5 billion peoples.
