Electricity Liberalisation in the European Union

This special issue of The Oil & Gas Law and Taxation Review (now renamed the International Energy Law and Taxation Review) deals with the response to the Electricity Directive by individual states of the European Union. The Electricity Directive, enacted by the European Commission on December 19, 1996, is concerned with the establishment of a competitive European internal market for electricity. This report contains a series of 15 contributions from experts in leading law firms in EU member states.
