The heart is a rhythmic pump that is located in the middle of the thorax and it is connected to the great vessels of the circularity system. It is mainly consists of muscular tissues, conduction system tissues, valves, coronary arteries and other tissues. Each of these has its own structure and properties. Basically, the heart is responsible of circulating blood all over the body based on a mechanical rhythmic operation which is regulated mechanically through valves and regulated electrically by the conduction network. Identifying the structure and the operation of the conduction network will help in many aspects such as diagnosing of electrophysiology diseases, simulation of the heart activation and help in cardiac resynchronization process. This book describes in details how to simulate heart activation based on some mathematical models.
