Barbara Carnes is a pioneer in the field of training transfer. She co-authored the first book on the subject, Making Training Stick. More recently she has authored Making Learning Stick and Making Training Stick: A Training Transfer Field Guide, as well as numerous articles and webinars on training transfer and related topics. Barbara is a consultant, trainer, speaker, and writer. Before founding Carnes and Associates, Inc. over 25 years ago, Barbara was a member of the training staff for Sprint. She is listed in the national registry of Who s Who, and has presented at national and international training conferences including the American Society for Training & Development, TechKnowledge, DevCon, the Canadian Society for Training & Development, Learning 3.0, and Creative Training Techniques. Barbara has a PhD in Human and Organizational Systems from Fielding Graduate University, where her dissertation was on training transfer.
